Learn Italian with Vanessa Amodio
Qualified Italian teacher with a Master’s in Teaching Italian — one-to-one and group lessons, online and in London.
About me

I’m Vanessa Amodio, a qualified teacher of Italian to foreign speakers. I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching and Promoting Italian Language and Culture from Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia, and I trained at International House London.
I’ve been teaching Italian since 2021 — one-to-one and in small groups, online and in person — and I currently teach at City Lit, International House London and other London language schools.
I use a fully communicative, up-to-date approach: I always present the language in context, so grammar, phonology and vocabulary come up naturally through everyday situations. I create authentic teaching materials around my students’ needs, and every course covers all four skills — reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Whether you’re starting from zero or polishing your Italian for work or study, we build the course around what you actually need.
